Merai is a true labor of love, brought to life by a team with a shared vision: to reimagine the dive bar with intention, heart, and creativity. Inspired by our deep passion for Thai-influenced cuisine and cocktails, we’ve blended the dynamic spirit of Boston’s cocktail scene with the rich traditions of Thai food and drink to shape everything we do.

Merai represents us as immigrants. Like so many Thai immigrants around the World, we move to foreign countries to pursue better lives. Thai flavors are something we know well (with the proof of the success of our sibling, Mahaniyom) and hold dear to our hearts. It is one thing that reminds us of who we are and where we are from.
